Your data is stored through WooCommerce Inc.’s data storage and databases. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

 

 

Payment and contact information: If you buy something from us, we’ll collect information to process those payments and contact you. You’ll provide personal and payment information like your name, credit card information, and contact information. We also keep a record of the purchases you’ve made. You may also provide us with financial details to set up a payments integration, like the email address for your Stripe or PayPal account or your bank account information. 

If you opt on a flash payment gateway to finish your purchase, then WooCommerce stores your Mastercard data. It\’s encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as it is critical to finish your purchase transaction. Then when it is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which may be a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and determine .

PCI-DSS requirements help confirm the secure handling of Mastercard information by our store and its service providers.
